You have probably already noticed that the newsletter has undergone some major changes. The first changes are to the format of the newsletter. It will now be in HTML rather than PDF for several reasons. First, it is easier to "flip" through and use the newsletter. Second, it is easier to update and allows for others to help edit and use it without any special software. Third, it allows for a more dynamic experience with links to articles and information, pop-up announcements, and the like.

I will be working to make the newsletter more visually exciting with a new look and feel, and I will be soliciting the help of upcoming artists to add some illustrations to our articles. I will be making sure that while the format is more visually rich, it is still quick to download and easy to use. I have written a book review for this issue and hope to have others send in reviews of books that they have found helpful, no matter what the subject is. I would also like people to send in reviews of web sites or any other materials or information that others can access and learn from.

With that in mind, I have decided to include information about other organizations that our members may be interested in joining or networking with. This issue contains information about a new organization relating to content management.
